This story in today’s New York Times is what I’ve been looking for in my search for reasons to support John McCain. It’s too easy to see him as just another “good ole boy” in the U.S. Senate.
I’ve just scanned the story and will read it later, but it seems to say that he has learned how to leverage his power in the Senate to the point where he’s its most influential member.
All his speeches mean nothing if he doesn’t have the influence and skill to get his agenda through the U.S. Congress. Maybe he does.
Set aside philosophy, how could Obama have that kind of influence in the few years he has been there. He can talk change, but does he have the skill and relationships in the U.S. Congress to get it done. Answer seems pretty clear.

Because Obama is smarter than McCain for starter, that’s why. You now have a pretty clear answer to your rambling.

I will write-in Hillary no matter what the ballot will look like on the Election day. Go on, Hillary!

Leverage? If he becomes U.S. President, wouldn’t you think that would be leverage enough?
I’d like to hear more than the usual “fear mongering”that gets spewed out from the McCain camp and his lackeys for once in this election.
